Annite alumnus Dinesh Weerakkody is the new Chairman of the Board of Investment of Sri Lanka.
In his extensive professional career, he served as Chairman of the International Chamber of Commerce Sri Lanka and Vice Chairman of the Sri Lanka Institute of Directors. In addition, he was a Chairman of Hatton National Bank PLC and Commercial Bank of Ceylon PLC.
Dinesh is also the author of the book 'The Great November Revolution'.
Now more than ever, the nation needs the service of the position for which he was appointed. We at St. Anne's College congratulate him and add our best wishes for a successful tenure.

??St. Anne's College is honored to receive National Productivity Awards after becoming ?Second Runner-up in the All Island 1AB Schools category.
The competition was organized by the National Productivity Secretariat of the Ministry of Labour and Foreign Employment. The contest began in 2020 and concluded with the awards ceremony which took place yesterday (December 15, 2022) at Temple Trees.
We express our utmost ?gratitude to Reverend Father Principal Chanadana Hapuarachchi, whose charismatic leadership brought us this glory, and the dedicated and hard-working ??staff; and also congratulate all our bright and elegant past and present ??students of the College.
On the shoulders of the achievements, St. Anne's College will continue the journey!

It was music to the ears as we heard that our Western Music Students emerged as First Runner-up in the 2022 All Island Western Music Competition organized by the Ministry of Education.
