2023 Battle of the Rocks - UK Edition
It couldn't get any better than a highly spirited, yet friendly cricket encounter between Maliyadeva College and St. Anne's College. This year is a gift for all the cricket-loving fans from both Colleges, as we are about to witness another edition of the Battle of the Rocks encounter.
This weekend promises excitement as Devans and Annites come together for the maiden Battle of the Rocks UK Edition.
The play will commence at Harold Wood CC Ground in Harold Wood Park this Sunday (July 2) at 9 AM.
Devans and Annites communities in the UK are warmly welcomed to participate in this thrilling event over the weekend, along with your friends and family. Enjoy all the cricket actions while being entertained with live music and delicious food offerings at the event. Special arrangements have also been made for children's entertainment.

This win brings a decisive victory for St. Anne's College in the 2023 Battle of the Rocks series, as they have now won 2 out of 3 editions, with Maliyadeva College winning 1 edition.

While we congratulate our team on their win, we also take this moment to acknowledge the efforts of the Devans. It is always a pleasure to play with them. Our sincere gratitude goes to the St. Anne's College and Maliyadeva College communities in the UK for uniting and making this event a success.

Annites' Legends won the Legend Trophy
Annites' Legends won the 2024 Legend Trophy defeating Devans' Legends in the final which took place at the Welagedara Stadium today (January 27).
Old Boys from St. Anne's College, Maliyadeva College, Sir John Kothalawala College, and Maliyadeva Model School participated in this competition. The game was played in a 10-overs-per-side format. -

Chryshantha Kapuwatte re-elected Assistant Secretary of Sri Lanka Cricket
Annite alumnus Chryshantha Kapuwatte has recently been re-elected as the Assistant Secretary of Sri Lanka Cricket in an uncontested election.
He also holds numerous other positions within the cricketing community, including Vice President of the Kurunegala District Cricket Association, General Secretary of the North Western Province Cricket Association, and Secretary of the Kurunegala Sports Club. In addition, Kapuwatte demonstrates his dedication to the St. Anne's College community as our President of the Old Boys Association.
We congratulate on his re-election and hope he'll do his part in bringing Sri Lankan Cricket to a new height. -
