Chandana Disanayake and Jagath Herath, the newly appointed District Secretaries of Kurunegala and Kegalle, respectively, were classmates at St. Anne's College. They also studied in the same class at university and have now been appointed to the same post and assumed duties at the same time! Wishing them success as they shine together!

Annite alumnus, Assistant Superintendent of Police Fredrick Wootler, has been appointed as the Acting Police Media Spokesman of the Sri Lanka Police.
Mr. Wootler holds an LL.B. (Hons) degree in Law from Buckinghamshire New University (UK) and an M.A. in Human Rights from the University of Colombo. Additionally, he has earned an Advanced Diploma in Human Resource Management from the National Institute of Business Management (NIBM) and serves as a visiting lecturer on human rights.
With over 34 years of service in the Sri Lanka Police, he has also been shortlisted for a United Nations P3 position as a UN Police Officer. He has served as a police advisor in East Timor and South Sudan on three separate occasions.
Mr. Wootler is an executive committee member of the College's Colombo Union. We at St. Anne’s College extend our warmest congratulations to him on his appointment as the Acting Police Media Spokesman.
