Battle of the Rocks 2020 - Two-day Encounter ended in a draw
Dominant batting performances by Devans met with vigilant resistance from Annites ending the Battle of the Rocks 2020 Two-day Encounter in a spirited draw.
Kavindu was steering Annites resistance with his much needed half century which saw the contest ended in a draw.

32nd Battle of the Rocks - Two-Day Encounter between Maliyadeva College and St. Anne's College will be played at the Welagedara Stadium on March 13 and 14. Play will commence at 10.00 a.m. on both days.

The Battle of the Rocks One Day Encounter has always been a highly competitive and spirited clash between St. Anne's College and Maliyadeva College. Both teams have faced off in this tournament 24 times before. The current winning tally stands at 12-12, highlighting the formidable and spirited nature of both teams.
Despite the fierce rivalry, the Annites and Devans have always maintained a friendly and cordial relationship. As neighboring Colleges, we take pride in our competitive nature and are honored to be such worthy opponents.

Chryshantha Kapuwatte re-elected Assistant Secretary of Sri Lanka Cricket
Annite alumnus Chryshantha Kapuwatte has recently been re-elected as the Assistant Secretary of Sri Lanka Cricket in an uncontested election.
He also holds numerous other positions within the cricketing community, including Vice President of the Kurunegala District Cricket Association, General Secretary of the North Western Province Cricket Association, and Secretary of the Kurunegala Sports Club. In addition, Kapuwatte demonstrates his dedication to the St. Anne's College community as our President of the Old Boys Association.
We congratulate on his re-election and hope he'll do his part in bringing Sri Lankan Cricket to a new height. -

Dear Departed: Col. Ashmin Jayathri
Colonel Ashmin Jayathri, an alumnus from the 1990 batch of St. Anne's College, has passed away at the age of 52.
Not only was he a distinguished military commander, but he was also revered by his friends for his close bonds and ability to motivate others. Colonel Jayathri served as the president of the College's 1990 Group and was an executive committee member of the College's Old Boys' Association.
His unexpected death has deeply saddened many within and beyond the College community, and the St. Anne's Family will forever cherish his memories. As we mourn his loss, we extend our heartfelt condolences to Colonel Jayathri's family and loved ones during this difficult time.
May his soul Rest in Peace. May he attain the Supreme Bliss of Nibbana.
