The Chief Guest Rev. Bro. Provincial of the De La Salle Brothers accompanied by Brother Director of St. Benedict’s College, Colombo himself a past pupil of the college arrived at the playground by helicopter. Each Grade and Old Boy Batch Group had a float to lead them adding eye catching attractions such as Limocines, Vintage cars, Horse carriages, Dance troupes etc. Dj’s, Nagasalam and Papara Bands joined the college Bands to accompany the large crowd in a rhythmic walk. It was gorgeous, well organized and very well attended. The special colorful t-shirt and the beautiful jubilee flags fluttering along the walk route added to the festive atmosphere. The College, The OBU and the Batch Groups have collaborated efficiently to stage this memorable event that would keep lasting memories of an enjoyable and a peaceful Jubilee Walk that all Annites and all those passers by in the city were enthralled with. May St. Anne’s College go from strength to strength.
